Primadonna was a photoshoot based on the song "Primadonna Girl" by Marina and the Diamonds.
It was a 2nd-year elective where our brief was to choose a song and create a photo/series around it. I picked "Primadonna girl" as it is a song I have loved for years and knew how I could create a photo series around it.

I focused on the lyrics;

I can't help that I need it all"
I took a comical approach by having a very in-your-face pink colour and 50s aesthetic. I did a mix of still life and portraits to display how full of herself and materialistic she is, as 'All I ever wanted was the world'.
